Title: I Can't Use Black On Black Skin

At present I am unable to use the Black On Black skin as it requires Aero. I am running Windows Server 2012 in Core Mode and the Aero option is unavailable. I have opted for Purity Dark as the best alternative but the column on the left hand side of the screen is not particularly helpful as it shows a dark coloured text on a dark background.

Is there an easy way to change text colours for skins. I only want to change the left hand column. The rest of the screen has white text and is fine.
