23.0.53 (9/11/2017)
First 64-bit build for Windows!

Should this show up as an auto update if a 64 bit version is already installed?
Ken
-
If you are on the beta channel, yes.
-
I'll wait a bit more then. Action window has not prompted for an auto update yet.
Ken
-
It prompted for me before the site/forums went down (pesky power outages!). Auto-updated from .54 to .55 x64 just fine.
-
.55 Showed up as an Auto Update. :)

Looks like the cat is out of the bag now.
Congrats to the dev team for accomplishing this great feat. Hopefully everyone enjoys and can appreciate the hard work involved from the devs getting to this point.
Thanks a lot, guys! Three cheers!

What I noticed is the WDM driver has almost no delay anymore? Can anyone confirm that?
When I played anything in the browser with the 32-bit version via the JRiver WDM driver, there was a noticeable delay before the sound was to hear.
There were ever few seconds of each track, this seems to be not so strong in the 64 bit version now.

second this. good stuff JR
- lost all zones, restoring did not restore zones.
- lost all EQ presets, restoring did not restore presets
everything else seems ok so far.
-
Had no problems installing alongside x32 version, all zones and settings migrated OK.
Audio and video playback fine.
Problems I have discovered: (apologies if you know about these already)
Can't install plugins from DSP studio.
WDM driver is not installed if selected in features.
Licence does not install from program Help>Restore licence, although email arrives with mjr file attached. Program registers OK if mjr file is executed.

Just a thought. . Are you trying/have you tried 64 bit versions of the plugins?

I don't get the chance to select, no UAC prompt or file select window is displayed.

Confirmed, will take a look.

I'm interested to see how much the benchmark scores have increased from the 32-bit build to the 64-bit build for everyone. I'd say looking at the scores thus far it's between a 400 to 600 point increase, which isn't too shabby. But yeah, I've completely removed the 32-bit build and I'm rocking only the 64-bit build from now on. :D
-
so I'm guessing that the Windows 7 Taskbar Plugin will not work on the 64 bit version!
-
More than likely, yes. Unless somebody (e.g. the developer of the original plugin) wants to make a new version of the plugin for the 64-bit MC? If I recall correctly too, marko also mentioned that PlayingNow doesn't work anymore either in the 64-bit build.
But that's honestly to be expected with the leap to 64-bit. It's a new ball game now!
