Title: Opus codec
Post by: wellywu on October 06, 2022, 09:56:06 am
I know that this question has been asked and answered in the past, but I am currently using the Opus audio codec for my music library. JRiver Media Center 29 and some versions prior to that do support the Opus audio codec in the .opus file extension, but it has also been discussed here that the metadata or tagging features are not available yet. In plain English, I would like to use JRiver Media Center 30 64-bit Master License for Ubuntu 64-bit LTS so that I can import my .opus audio tracks and have then properly tagged as if I were to import L.A.M.E. MP3 audio tracks without going through the lossy transcoding process. Is this even possible for Opus audio tracks ending in .opus file extension with the current release version and if so, then how do I do that?
