Title: Putting convolution files on ID's SSD?
Post by: mcw on January 31, 2017, 01:21:57 pm
How do you put the files needed for convolution directly on a classic ID's SSD ?
So that MC doesn't have to grab them from a thumb drive like I have it...

Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but linux, samba share (if that is even relevant here)... are foreign language...

You need to connect to it's samba share. You can do that from windows or a Mac easily. If you go to the menu on the Id and do option 11 you will see the Id IP address.
Then connect to it from Windows or Mac:
In Windows Explorer, enter an IP address like this:
\\1.2.3.4\
Then go into InternalStorage and drop your filter into the media folder.

On a Mac do Go->Connect to Server and then
smb://1.2.3.4/
Then go into InternalStorage and drop your filter into the media folder.

From within MC load the filter by browsing to File System(in the left panel)->Export->Media which is where you dropped the filter.
