Title: jack audio out supported?
Post by: ((( atom ))) on October 18, 2021, 02:48:47 pm
Is jack audio actually supported? I don't get it to work, even though I can select it as audio output. I depend on it, since I transport all audio via netjack to another linux box doing FIR filtering.

I setup a pulse/jack bridge, but I'd really prefer to use jack native. Is there any more information on that topic?

Ah, very good to know. Thx!

Do you think he will catch this question or might he drown in other stuff after his vacation?

It's not directly supported.
I have never tried the jack devices ALSA presents.

Already dug into that. These are only really functional once you establish a alsa to Jack bridge. I went down the pulse to Jack path, though. Works for now, native Jack would of course be nicer.
