As you might know, Sonique was a media player. It was famous for some of its visual plugins such as :

Those Sonique Visual Plugins used the svp file format.
It would be nice to write a wrapper for MC that could read svp file and render them.
But since Sonique's death a former Sonique developper released another media player called Tuniac (http://www.tuniac.org) that is open source now (http://sourceforge.net/projects/tuniac/), it has a visual plugin that can read svp file.
I think that someone could use the Tuniac's wrapper sources (http://sourceforge.net/p/tuniac/code/HEAD/tree/Tuniac1/SVPVisualPlugin/) to develop a wrapper for JRiver Media Center.
