Qobuz (in the French equivalent of Chapter 11)No equivalent here ... Qobuz is going bust >:(
Helloactually the French "procédure de sauvegarde" is quite similar to Chapter 11 (maybe a little less severe). They are still paying their suppliers, employees, and taxes so they are still solvent. Also they will undoubtedly get a 4 month renewal of this statute. 9 to 12 million euros is nothing in this game. Not saying they aren't leaving themselves open to "hostile" financing or mergers however. It depends if some one/corporation/government wants them out of the picture or not ... (my understanding is that if the French government did not allow the deal between Deezer and Orange, the latter giving out their premium service for free, their financing wouldn't have fallen through). IMO, of course, if they go bust its because bigger players do not want them around as a threat, not the 12 million euros. OK Qobuz is not spotify, but to give you an idea of the money involved, last year Spotify got financing for 200 million in a month ... ending up with a valuation of 4 Billion USD -- ok thats "virtual" but there is big money in this; IPO time for the Swedes.

Who's got ""between 9 and 12 " ?
I have friends that use Deezer (183 countries) now that it is available in the USA (http://www.cnet.com/news/deezer-entering-us-will-sound-like-spotify-act-like-netflix/) and Tidal (US & UK).
Deezer started in France and you don't have it on your list already? ;)
Songza (USA)K thanks. added
SomaFM (USA)

ALL FOR MUSIC [France]
Burning Man Information Radio (BMIR.org)
seems like a direct stream? no interactivity/API or am I missing something?Pretty much a direct stream. There are no channels to choose, you pretty much get what they are playing. No up-vote or down-vote or anything like that.
Music Choice International streaming from USA to Belgium Telenet via digital cable.
I have a subscription to Rdio (http://www.rdio.com/).
I have a subscription to Rdio (http://www.rdio.com/). Soundquality is quite good I think. And they have a lot of music to listen too. :)
Google Play (USA)yep I was surprised no one was listening to that. Added, thx
Let's me upload 50,000 of my own tracks so whatever they don't have that I do I'm covered.

anyone using Apple (ex-Beats from Dr Dre &Co)?
thanks I've never seen radionomy before - it's not music on demand though so I didn't add this to the list. NPR is up there as there is a lot of on-demand content, even though it also has radio stations.
- Radionomy (https://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/marcsradio) offers thousands of stations @128Kbps. Playing the stream inside Media Center you get Name and Artist info and also the Artist Slideshow at the Playing Now screen in Theater View.
- TuneIn (http://tunein.com/radio/marcsRadio-s250419/) is also a known source of good stations @different bitrates.

How are you seeing name and artist? I am only seeing "HTTP Stream"
Great find though - I am always looking for streams...
Interesting. I'm opening the link in MC under file, open URL and I don't see it... You seem to be opening the link differently...
