Friend (83) purchased JRemote for his iPad some years back
He cannot recall what Apple ID was used to purchase it and now it wants to update, but requests a password
The message is: This was purchased with a different Apple ID and cannot be upgraded
He is prepared to buy it again, but even this option is not available
What to do please?

Can he log in to the Apple store? That's required.
