Title: 4K Movies with Dolby TrueHD 7.1 (96kb, 16bit)

Can JRiver play an MKV file of a 4K movie as described above without sound dropouts? An example would be “My Fair Lady.” Plex with an Nvidia Shield cannot. Thank you.

I have no problems at all doing that.

Hello. I understand that the Nvidia shield uses ExoPlayer to play the files and that the problem I described lies with ExoPlayer’s inability to process 96kb audio files. Does JRiver use a proprietary player? Thanks.
