Post by: HTPC4ME on November 15, 2019, 09:26:50 pm
any known issues when upgrading from 21 to 25-26?....Do all settings/playlists/libraries/views(including theaterview/gizmo) etc,  update to new versions? (mac/windows)

will/does Jremote2 (droid) work w/ jriver 21?

No, not really. Some people have noted some settings get lost or forgotten, but that is usually because features have changed. If you notice something, check settings.

Yes, if MC finds your previous Library, which is supposed to happen if you are using the default Library and it is loaded at the time. If MC doesn't find the previous installation of MC and Library, just Restore a Library Backup from MC21 into MC25/26.

It should do, but we will have to wait and see. There may be some new MCWS commands being used that MC21 wouldn't know what to do with.

Just do a library backup in MC21, then restore the library backup in MC25/MC26. That should carry over all the settings (except built thumbnails, custom skins you might be using, etc.).
