I saw that FLAC has a new version; will it be included with a future build of MC 22? Thanks.
-
I'd expect so. Only a matter of time.
-
Coming next build:
Changed: Updated to FLAC 1.3.2.
-
Spoon from DB Poweramp says 1.3.2 is going to be skipped, it has serious bugs which cause freeze on certain cpu.
Can't speak to this, but a head's up.

Alright, we'll keep an eye out for it.
I'm just one guy but I tested a few FLAC files and they played fine on the new code.
Hopefully there'll be a 1.3.3 with fixes before long.
-
He didn't mention on which CPUs it crashes on, did he?
-
I reverted the change.
So we'll put the 1.3.2 change on the someday soon roster.
-
No he didn't say which CPU's. Just a post he made in a reply on their forum.
-
The differences in 1.3.2 over 1.3.1 are rather minimal, so its not exactly a big loss to not update to it straight away (or even ever).
1.3.2 is barely a few weeks old, and we generally prefer to let versions be proven before updating to them, instead of being early adopters of new core libraries.
-
Thanks for all the replies. I'm fine to wait, particularly if there are issues.

Hi.
I need to know if the latest version of JRiver have included Flac 1.3.2.
Thanks.
-
It looks like it is still 1.3.1, based on a look at the "in_flac.dll" in the Plugins sub-directory.
But why does it matter? As Hendrik said above, the changes are minimal from 1.3.1. to 1.3.2, and it has bugs.
