I switched from Win 10 to Linux Debian. I got MC to install, but it used up one of my Win30 license credits but wouldn't take it since it is not for Linux. I tried several commands in the Terminal listed in the Wiki on Licensing. No luck. How about a simple added update charge making it easier to license to Linux?

You can purchase an MC31 Master License at a discount. Check the Windows board.

How do I get around the problem I ran into with not allowing me to use my MC 30 because it was a windows edition?
-
MC for Linux requires a Linux license. The Master License will work with both Linux and Windows.
Or you can install MC30 for Linux. See the Old Versions topic on our wiki.
