I have successfully "installed" the Id Pi and am able to import and play music. However, I cannot access Engen. When I click on "Lighting" in Panel, it shows an error page (refuses to connect). The system settings report Engen v1.0.69 so I think it is running, but is there some extra step I missed to enable Engen?

Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, I believe.

Sorry, Raspberry Pi 1 B+ with black Z-Stick (gen 2?)
-
Pi 1?
This one?

Yes

OK. Thanks. I didn't understand that earlier.

I wonder if it's memory. 512MB.
Maybe somebody has a Pi 3 they're not using.
-
Any way to troubleshoot this more? It seems unlikely that it is a memory issue since I can run many other things on the Pi1 including other home automation software with the same Z-Stick. Is there any configuration I have to do for it to recognize the Z-Stick?

I'm guessing Engen isn't running. The IdPi can still report the Engen version even if there is no server running. The Engen logs might provide some more information, but you might not be able to access them from another machine. The log files are stored in /export/engen/logs. If you can't access them from another machine, you could probably import them into Media Center as data files and read them that way.

MC is not finding any data (log) files to import from that folder. This seems to suggest that it is empty and Engen is never even attempting to run?
