Title: FLAC problem
Post by: carlp on July 22, 2015, 06:06:48 am
I've used MC for Windows since v.18 and have had the same complaint with each upgrade: the processing the new version applies to the library changes the tagging of my flac file's metadata. I haven't seen this addressed in the forums. The last file in an album's folder will have it's title attribute (and a couple other - memory needs refresh) changed so that it appears to be a separate album. Not every folder, but enough of them to make it very annoying. Maybe setting the library directories to read only is the work around? But, that shouldn't happen.

Switching versions doesn't rewrite any FLAC tags.

Are you migrating your Library backup to the new version of MC each time?  Or are you re-importing all of your media each time?
