Title: DVB-T MPEG4 Support
Post by: MrHaugen on September 10, 2008, 03:48:40 pm
I just read that some people helped with the frequency range of DVB-T in MC13. Does this mean that DVB-T is fully supported now? What about MPEG 2 vs 4?

I'm from Norway, and we are about the only country in Europe that have MPEG4 coding. Some Asian countries are using it as well I think.
Is this supported, and are there any TV Tuners out there supported by MC13 yet?

FYI, here in New Zealand our DVB-T also uses MPEG 4 - well it uses H.264 which I think is the same thing.

Hi, Has anyone got DVB-T working for NZ with media center, there don't appear to be frequencies listed for our country, and when tying with other frequency lists it finds TV1 only,  but doesn't produce vision or sound.

There are probably several places that I do not know of that uses MPEG4 encoding, but is there actually anyone that have gotten their hands on a TV Tuner that supports this, and that have tested it in MC13?
