Title: No or wrong sound from movies with ASAPI and USB DAC

Found alot of reading here about problem with the sound from movies, but could still not get rid of my problem. I use W7, Pro-ject DAC Box USB and use ASAPI output mode for HiFi sound, pure 2-channel to normal stereo amplifier. Works great with audio files but not with films. Most of the movies dont show any sound and I get an error message that I must check the settings. For some films I get the back channels from surround only. I have the DAC drivers installer as an plugin in MC and the device is shown in the app.

Hmm, first I use MC 17, second I dont understand why I should read about surround sound when a search for a 2 channel sound ?
