As we all know, MC is a complex piece of software with a bit of a leaning curve. There are a lot of features and options. Unfortunately, not all help pages are up-to-date. Quite a bit of information is missing or outdated. Some info in the documentation is no longer in the software.
It would be nice if there was more of a match between both. Correct categories and order of the various options on the help pages, to reflect exactly what is in the software. And a (brief) description of each option.
As an example, let's take a look at Options > General (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/General_Settings).
In the software, I see:
- Interface
- Importing & Tagging
- Online Metadata
- Shell Options
- Video Card
- Behavior
- Features
- Advanced
The help page:
- Interface
- Importing & Tagging
- Online Metadata
- Shell Options
- Behavior
- Advanced
So, two categories are missing. On the help page, Features is listed, under Advanced. However, it does not explain much, see screen shot.
