Title: Converting files and maintaining the new file's location in a playlist.
Post by: Rootdown4594 on March 12, 2019, 07:26:03 pm
I have a playlist of favorite songs for each band that I have(over a hundred). I want to convert and replace lossless files to another lossless format without having to redo all my playlists. Is this possible in anyway?

Welcome to the forum. It should just work.  You could set up a test playlist to try it.

Wow ok. It does work! But I guess not exactly how I was expecting it to work.

I have imported all the old playlist files(.wpl) that I created in Windows Media Player before I started using JRiver Media Center. I was expecting the actual old playlist file that I imported to be updated. I guess after converting the files I can just export the playlist as an M3U or WPL and have that updated playlist file.
