When I search using the web interface, I'm presented with a list of matching tracks with apparently no ability to play the album they're originating from (or see the list in original track order).
Is there a way around that? Am I missing something?
Thanks

What are you using to search? Panel?

Yes. Top panel - Second icon from the right.

Some help? :)

This is Panel:

Is that what you're using? Web interface can mean a lot of things.

Yes that's what I'm using.

Try press and hold, then Play All.

Try press and hold, then Play All.
That doesn't do what the OP is asking for. It just plays everything that matches. If you searched for the album name and the results contain only tracks from the album, then Play All will work. However, right now Panel search doesn't do what the OP wants. Panel is coming along, but for an idea of how search should function you should look at MO 4Media.

That's right.
I looking for a way to get to the album a track belongs to from the search results.
Seems kind of basic. :)
Thanks.

Agreed! As a listener, I'd like to be able to search for an artist and play one of their albums. With the current UI, it's only possible to play 1 or every track by that artist.
My proposed solution is links at the top of the search results page to group by artist or album. For example:
Results for: "Beatles"
Artists (1) / Albums (7) / Tracks (123)
An alternative solution would be adding an item to the "press and hold" menu to "Go to album" or "Go to artist".
Thanks for considering this.
