Title: MC Not Playing Audio from Video Files

I have a number of videos that MC has recently decided to stop playing the audio. MC played the audio previously; haven't got much clue, at the moment, as to why the sudden change? And it seems to be selective, as well, as not videos suffer this problem.

Anyone come across this problem before? Able to advise or assist?

It's probably a DirectShow filter problem.  Please take a look at the DirectShow Guide in our wiki (link above).
