Title: Chord Mojo DAC vs. Schiit BitFrost vs Parasound ZDac or ZDac v.2
Post by: robertisonline on June 23, 2016, 09:41:27 am
I am upgrading my DAC and have been looking at the Chord Mojo, Schiit Bitfrost and Parasound ZDac or ZDac v.2, or any other DAC that are contenders around this price point. I have about 20 DSD albums so that capability is a must. Pairing with Grado PS500e's.

Thoughts? Thanks,

Robert

Hi,
I'm curious if you bought anything or got results you are happy with.  I just bought a Rotel RDD-1580, and am looking for setup help.  If you have any info, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks,

Don

It looks like the 1580 has a USB driver for windows.  You should post a new topic with details on what you are trying to do and/or what errors you have encountered.

Brian.

the bifrost is very good. not super revealing at the high frequencies, but I like that. i like it better for music than more expensive dacs (exasound e18).
