Title: Test results of DA/AD converters using Audio DiffMaker
Post by: hulkss on December 18, 2012, 01:07:43 am
Audio DiffMaker is a free software tool for critically evaluating audio components.
It is described here: http://www.libinst.com/Audio%20DiffMaker.htm (http://www.libinst.com/Audio%20DiffMaker.htm)

Here are some test results from using it to rate digital-to-analog converters:

I was happy to see the Aurora converter that I use near the top of the performance list.

Audio DiffMaker can be used to test many of the signal path DSP features of MC like sample rate conversion, bit depth selection, transcoding, or effects of almost any hardware in the signal path.
