Title: Integrate with iTunes
Post by: nimbuzz on July 24, 2019, 03:09:53 pm
I'm a Swing dance DJ but I don't need the complicated DJ programs as I never scratch, fade, blend, alter tempos, use two turntables & etc so I use iTunes. I'm trying JR and have these questions;

1-- How do I import a playlist from iTunes with metadata? Which tunes library would I use from JR's choices--there is a handful of them.

2--Can I have my iTunes BPMs (that I have entered in a BPM column that iTunes has)show in JR?

3--iTunes has a decent EQ -- Does JR have one? They claimed they do but sent me here to ask questions.

Thanks for any info...

There are a couple of iTunes playlist threads on the Windows board.

The Mac version should work the same way.  You need to have the latest build of MC.

Equalizer:

Player > DSP Studio > Equalizer > (click check box to activate it)
Then adjust.

A shortcut to DSP Studio is Command-d .

MC also has a super powerful parametric EQ which is also right there in DSP Studio.  For basics the regular graphic EQ is fine and might do exactly what you want.  If not the Parametric has a bunch of features and power.

Good luck!

Brian.
