Under Action Window - File Properties - Tag Info i see a Selection List when I want to enter an entry in a tag. Under the Tag "Genre" i have the entries "pop" and "POP". I would like to delete one of theese entries. Is it possible ?
Do theese two entries mean that i have tags with "pop" and tags with "POP"? How can i find them ? I think the search options are not case sensitive.
MC 10.0.90
Thanks, Uwe

I've had this problem too. Soul/R&B was also listed as Soul/r&b even though there were no files with tagged as Soul/r&b.
This came about after I used Clean File Properties which converted all the Soul/R&B to soul/r&b after which I manually changed them all back. Despite this the lower case entry stayed in the genre selection list. To finally cure the problem I changed all these tags to Soul / R&B.

Thanks JLee.
First i'm glad that i'm not alone :D
When i understand you right, it must be possible to rename all "pop" or "POP" Files to another name (maybe Soul / R&B).
The two Pop entries disappear in the selection list. After that i can rename them to "POP" and there's only one entry left in the list ?!
Maybe there are some more hints from overseas in a few minutes, when the new day starts...

MC will only show values currently in the library.
To clean things up, just search for all the "Pop" and in-place edit the genre to whatever case you want.

Matt, that's the Problem. The search for "pop" or "POP" give me the same results.
And i can't look for a "pop" in my 3450 "POP"s :o
When i only change the case of the same word (pop->POP), MC changes nothing.

Are you sure? I just tried with MC 10.0.91 and it makes the change.

Add a new view scheme with the Genre column.
This will list all the genres in the Library.
Look for pop and Select all edit with POP.
Should work

That's it !
Needs some time for manual searching.
Thanks
