I cannot connect to MC 23 with JRemote. We have been using MC21 for years with JRemote on an iPad without any problems. Yesterday downloaded MC23/64bit without problem enabled the access code copied into the JRemote and no connection. I have gone through a variety of sequences but no change. I have completely deleted MC21 from our music server and re-downloaded the MC23 but no change. On the JRemote a window opens stating connections to IP is timed out, gives the correct IP address and port but will not connect. It shows the computers IP address plus the router IP, there is It stats 'connection refused' I shows a 'cloud' stating 'Fetching updated addresses from jriver.com using access key ..... I have double checked all addresses associated with the connection all correct. Firewall is off. Able to play MC23 from computer screen without issue, just CANNOT get the JRemote to connect.
Our system software is Windows 2012 R2 server, Mcafee security.

Firewall? It still may be blocking. Try rebooting.

WOW - it worked! I did have the Windows Firewall off and the McAfee set, I thought to allow the JRemote, but I guess not.

We really do enjoy JRiver and have highly recommended it to other audiofiles.
