Haven’t used in a long time simply because it just didn’t work to play video. Recently read that things have changed. Excited to see that from signing in to scrolling easily through my videos using my jriver on apc as the server works as it should. Smoothly. > "prerecorded broadcast video"
What file format? How was it recorded?
-
Also, what audio compression is it using?
-
Those that i simply downloaded from streaming services play av fine.
Those I recorded via TV on JRiver in TS format will not play audio.
-
Is this typical? Audio will not play when playing a video recorded in JRiver in the TS video format?
-
No.
-
Ok……why do you suppose that is?
-
Maybe a format that the Shield doesn't like?
-
JRiver for Android uses ExoPlayer to handle video. If you're seeing video without the audio, it likely means ExoPlayer can't handle the audio compression. We'll take a look at it.

OK, thank you very much for looking into it.
