Hi all. I was wondering if JRiver had any plans for an embedded version of Media Centre in the future? Many thanks

Can you describe what you want and why?

I will take a crack at the request.  It has been awhile since I last investigate but I believe the current version of JRiver requires X-Windows and Window manager.  I would like to see a version of JRiver which does not require that, to minimize system resources.  I currently own a master license.

TIA

Why would that be better?

I am trying to streamline the amount of software packages that are installed and running.  The more package installed the more disk space used and more services running using resources.

I am asking whether you have plans for a standalone version (like kodi has openelec / libreelec)?
