Title: "Play all now" option for videos with JRemote
Post by: DangerJP on December 07, 2015, 08:28:34 pm
Hi,

I use JRemote to stream videos on my iPhone (zone set as This device).

I'm trying to use the "Play all now" option to play videos in a playlist, but JRemote only plays one video and won't play them all one after the other.

Is this a known limitation or am I doing something wrong ?

Honestly I have the inverted problem.

Any video I play wants to play every other video in the library afterwords.

I have to check when my kids watch that a horror movie isn't up next and remind them to leave after the movie they are watching.

JRemote is only "half" useful for me. I mostly use SimpleRemote with MCE controller plugin. JRemote is better at some things are far inferior at others. I wish one of the two apps did it all well.

I was not able to find a resolution to this issue. 7 years later and I still can't figure out how to play all.

In JRemote after selecting the audio track or video look in the top right of screen on the phone or I think top left on an iPad and there’s an icon with 3 horizontal parallel lines next to a play button. This is the Default Play Mode setting, and changes behaviour between the 2 outlined here and has other settings available.
