Title: Volume Leveling (R128) replaces Replay Gain? Right?
Post by: pschelbert on March 09, 2019, 05:16:31 pm
I am wondering if "Volume Leveling" (R128) replaces "Replay Gain".

In older MC doku I found that there should be a "Replay Gain" to switch in "Tools".
However now in MC24 I cannot find the Item "Replay Gain"

In "Tools" I can find "Volume Leveling".

So I assume "Replay Gain" is not anymore used in MC24.

Am I right?

Hi

JRiver "R128 Volume Level" works great.

Just enabled "Volume Leveling" and "Adaptive Volume off".

I use acourateconvolver for loudness.
Calibrated Loudness reference-level to 83dB SPL (85dB SPL alternatively) at hearing position.
