Title: 4Gb limit on .WAV files
Post by: tbng on March 15, 2019, 03:16:43 pm
Just used dbPoweramp to convert a 2.5Gb .flac file to .wav, and it won't work because the resulting .wav file is larger than 4Gb, which apparently is max for a .wav file.  Any way around this?  Would .aiff work?

Large AIFF files seem to be truncated when converted with dBpoweramp too, so I guess that's also a limitation of the format.
Is there a reason you wouldn't just keep it as a FLAC file?

Is the output file on a FAT32 drive?

Using WavPack files allows greater then 4gb output.
