Title: Multichannel Netflix ?
Post by: Paul W on May 05, 2016, 05:55:11 pm
We're watching fewer and fewer discs...and more and more streaming.  For whatever reason, multichannel DD+ etc via Netflix doesn't seem to work.

What am I doing wrong?  Solution?

Could you please provide some more info?

Are you viewing Netflix through a browser? Desktop app? the browser in MC?

Are you using the JRiver WDM driver?

Use the Windows 8/8.1/10 Netflix app.
Optionally, you can use the JRiver WDM driver and JRiver MC for DSP.

I was getting to the WDM, just wanted to make sure they weren't using it already :)

Using Netflix via Firefox and the WDM driver.  JRSS mixing does sound good, but I'd like to try DD+ etc.

Heck, I didn't even know they had an app...got it now. :-[

Next dumb question.  What is the currently recommended way to run the NF app via JRiver?

Everything seems to be working fine now.  (Sound output to the WDM driver was set to 2-channel which is the only way Firefox/Netflix would work...reset it to 7 channel and all is good.)
