Title: Can't transfer music to Pono Player
Post by: tobysmann on January 05, 2015, 02:27:19 pm
I'm getting an error that says; "Cannot transfer any of the files, common errors include insufficient rights or file types".

I know that I have the rights to this music and the files types are high quality FLACs. They copied to my music library just fine but won't transfer to the Pono Player.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Jason

Could you send me a PMW log file?

1. Help / Logging / Enable logging
2. Try to transfer one of the problematic tracks
3. Help / Logging / Report problem
4. Mail to johnt at jriver dot com  (replace "at" and "dot" with punctuation marks)

Thanks!

If you click on the device in the left hand window and then check the options box up on the top of the big window (just to the right), are your file types listed under File Types?
Title: Trying to Download, getting Message: "Track download failed: Try again later...
Post by: jeinhaus on February 24, 2015, 02:14:33 pm
Hi.
In PonoMusicWorld, on a few purchased tracks, when I try to download from the Pono Store, I get:

"Track download failed: Try again later by selecting Tools menu | PonoMusic Account | Check for Downloads".

I've tried this multiple times after exiting the app, rebooting, re logging in.   This is only for tracks from one album so far.  Other tracks work fine.  I can play the track in the Pono Cloud.

Thanks!

That's probably a problem with the server.  You could report it to Pono on their forum.

I've been having this problem only since updating to 72. It might be a PMW issue.

I am having a similar issue. I have the rights to these files so I shouldn't be getting this error message.

I had a similar issue but upgrading to PMW 20.0.137 seems to have fixed it. ;D

I also am having issues trying to load purchases from Ponomusic World to my Pono Player; I'm using 20.0.137; I can play the songs in Ponomusic World and they are FLAC.  I get an icon of the Android robot in green although I don't own an Android device.  Should I reload 20.0.137, reformat my microSD card (happens both on my 64 GB and 128 GB), the 64 GB has been working for months but now it also shows as and Android device.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.  Thanks!
