Is there a way to limit duplicates of linked files in a smartlist? I have not come across the answer yet.
To be clear, when a set of files is linked, each file appears to be a separate file when added to a smartlist. This results in the same set of linked files being added to the smartlist once for each individual file in the linked set. I hope that makes sense.

So if you have an album with files 1, 2, and 3 and you link them as:
1 -> 2 -> 3
Then you make a smartlist that contains that album, it then adds all 3 files, and each file brings along it's linked members. So you end up with 1,2,3 (from 1), 1,2,3 (from 2), and 1,2,3 (from 3). Correct?
I think what you want to do is add a modifier to your smartlist that does "remove duplicates of" and specify something like Album, Name. That should remove any true duplicates from your list. You might have to experiment a bit.

I think that suggestion got me where I needed to go. Thank you!
