Title: Portable Mini-disc recorder Sharp
Post by: TCube on May 05, 2006, 06:05:03 am
Hello !

Bought a Sharp Portable Minidisc recorder MD-MT180H on ebay. That's stuff isn't even MP3 compatible ... odd isn'it ... the titling of minidisc is also proprietary ... weird !

It has an ATRAC (Adaptative TRansform Acoustic Coding) 24 bit coding and magnetic modulation overwrite as recording method.

Nonetheless, that little stuff takes MP3 as input and puts out between 80 to 320 minutes of music (stereo - 44.1kHz) per minidisc  ;D

Leave of take 4 or 5 minidisc in pocket ... I'm ready to go anywhere  8)

It takes a very long time to record (direct output via sound card ) but using Smart List & the playback settings (Alt M option)  makes it easy.

Well ... do U know what ?
