A recent build of Media Center 26 adds this:
NEW: You can specify what files to include in the share for Library Server in Options > Media Network > Set rules for included files...
The idea is that you can edit the files to include in the share of library server based on a search.
So you can filter out pictures or audio or anything else.
Any client that connects to the library will not see any filtered files.
