Title: Full Screen from JRemote
Post by: Mike Foran on April 13, 2015, 07:59:06 am
I am using JRemote on iOS to control a media PC hooked up to my living room TV. I don't keep JRiver running in Theater Mode as I find it causes the PC to run hot. So after we are done watching a video I exit Theater Mode. However, when we pick another video from the JRemote interface it displays on the TV in a windowed mode.

Is there a way to make the video go full screen easily from the JRemote app?

Currently the only way I have figured to do it is to open the theater interface from the Remote section, then use the touchpad to re-navigate to the movie on the screen, and re-select it. This entire operation is time consuming and redundant. I would like a button on the JRemote interface that pops the playing video to full screen mode. I feel like I am just missing it.

Is there an easy way to force video from the active zone to play full screen?

Nothin' eh? Dang I was hoping I was just missing something obvious.  :-\

Can I make this an official feature request? Please add a button to the JRemote app that will force video full screen.

Thanks!

In MC's options you can set it.  Tools > Options > General > Behavior.
