This refers to MC for Linux, version 28.0.48:
If you click on "amazon" or "google", you get correctly on their web page via chromium. So far so good. However, if you return to MC, the MC-screen is frozen. The mouse pointer has changed from an arrow to a hand; it can still be moved around, but has no influence on the GUI. Everything is frozen; a forced power shutdown and restart is required to get back to a working system.
Seems like this happens whenever MC accesses the internet. I found the same problem when clicking the menu to check out some of the online skins.
The Windows version of MC works correctly (I guess it uses Edge as a browser?).
