I've read a lot of posts here that are similar in what I'm looking for but not exactly the same and I think it's probably to do with my lack of knowledge of terms so I though tI have to just resort to asking. I'll keep it simple as I can and sorry if I'm repeating previous posts.
I've got MC19 on my desktop. My laptop accesses all the media on the desktop via the home network and SMB shares. I've also installed MC19 on my laptop that works wired via ethernet or WiFi. But for some reason I can't get the MC19 install on the laptop to recognize changes made to the library on the desktop. There must be a setting I'm getting wrong. I find it hard to believe that MC19 can't do this connection. The reason I need this is because the laptop has the easiest connection to the stereo in the living room.
