Title: CD ripping
Post by: Auerhahn on April 21, 2016, 12:31:37 pm
Is it possible to rip a CD with Media Center 21? The Wiki says: »To access this feature, insert your disc into your computer's optical drive and then go to:
Action Window > Rip Disc«. This looks simply, but it isn’t if there nothing like »Rip Disc« in the action window. Has anybody a hint what I can do?

I found a JRiver page in german, which says: »Um eine CDs zu rippen, legen diese lediglich in Ihr Laufwerk. JRiver MC wird Sie durch das Menü begleiten.« This seems to be not the truth because when I put the CD in, absolutely nothing happens. There is no menu which could »accompany« me. What does it mean?

MC21 will rip CD's.  What is the complete version you have?

In the left navigation pane, go to Drive and Devices and click it.  When you insert a CD, you'll see it appear there.  Click the CD when it appears and you can use the ripping interface, which will appear in the main display area on the right.
