Title: Can i use JRiver Media center in Linux?

Hi i bought jr media center 14,and installed it in a windows laptop i had,but a few days ago,i dropped and its broken,since i have  a desktop i was wondering if i can install it there,but the problem is that i use Linux in it,specifically Ubuntu 10.04 and i havent seen in any forum if i can run it in Ubuntu,or Linux at all...if someone can help...it will be appreciated...id love to have it in Ubuntu,any info in how to install it,would be great...thanks a lot...

You'd have to run it in a virtual windows installation under linux. There are several out there, including the free virtualbox. I do this at home on my linux server and it works fine. The only exception is 3d. Most of the solutions can't do windowed 3d. This would affect 3d cover art and visualizations.
