Hi all,
I've released version 0.1b of my first plugin, ExportIt. From the readme;
ExportIt is a simple, free, plugin for JRiver's excellent Media Center 9.1. ExportIt allows you to export your tree structure to an HTML file. This allows you to print out a structure of Artist and Album, Genre, or anything you feel like really. It supports as many levels as you need, so theoretically you could export your whole tree structure.

Version History:
Features :
- Exports view schemes, starting from a custom scheme, and going down
a specified number of levels
- Optionally export the files in the final level
- Export to two types of HTML - basic and tree-view
- Specify the location of the exported file
- Safely cancel the operation halfway-through
- Optionally launch the HTML page in browser on complete
- Saves settings in INI file, keeping the registry clean
- Copy images + javascript with file (in subdir?)
Known Problems / Issues :
- Yet to have an interface matching the skin
- Crashes MC when an export started, then the plug is closed down.
- Haven't tested it with a very large library.
- No proper install / un-install routine
- Having ' > ' in the name of a scheme will screw things up.

maybe if you just change the mode to "1"

If you want to get rid of the black borders around your buttons IIRC you put them inside a picturebox.

King Sparta - thanks for the tip - how do I set the plugin mode? is it a registry setting?
RhinoBanga - Yup i've got this on the list of things to do. Aesthetics is something I'll look at later, I want to try and get some of the colours from the skinautomation so it fits in a bit better with the design.

if your using the Registry.reg file
it is in there, i think it is labled "mode" something or another.

Looks good.
Some indication of the tree settings being used would be nice :)
Also - just two big text areas at the top and bottom to allow custom headers/footers to be added would be great! :)
V. nice lookin plugin thou!! :)

Do you mean in the output HTML file it should say where it came from? I thought for the next version I'd add in stuff like thatt.

You can do this by editing the template. Look in the /template directory. In there you can pretty much change anything, from adding headers/footers to changing the fonts and layout by altering the CSS.

Thanks :)

aaah - templates? Css? Lovely :)
Good job dude!
Except it didn't work for me - tried to export my whole tree with files - maybe I just had too many for it to handle :)
-
What didn't work? did it crash out? or did the HTML not load in the browser? Sometimes if you export loads, Opera takes a few seconds to load it up properly.
Does doing it with fewer files work?

I removed a post that asked for a feature that may be illegal.

No prizes for guessing what that was ;)
Found this after following all the skin threads in here.
I d'loaded it, tried it, and got it to work on the 2nd try.
It can only do it's thing if view schemes are "populating the tree" which I mostly turn off.
I set up a view scheme under "advanced" just for your plugin.
Although only v0.1b, it appears to be doing "everything it says on the tin"
Thank you very much :)
