Title: Default album cover file location
Post by: ataddeo on September 12, 2017, 02:04:52 pm
Hello where ever you are,

You have the default album cover art path as:  something like LIBRARY/APPLICATION SWUPPORT/JRiver/COVERART/ALBUMS/

The program won't accept the/albums sub directory, error message tells me problem moving directory.  To make matters worse MC 23.0.41 for mac won't allow me to keep the options window open while I try and change the cover art folders path.  It freezes so I can't move the window to a side so I can copy or change the cover art path.  It appears no matter what path I point the PGM to I get the same error message.

What's the secret to cover art file location?

I think I understand what you are describing.  I would move your cover art folder, using Finder, to the location you want it.  Then go into MC and tell it the new location.

You should probably make a copy of your cover art folder to a second location as well.  Just in case.  This isn't something I've played with very much, as I prefer to have the cover art INSIDE the files *and* a second copy in the same directory with the album files.

Good luck.

Brian.

Thank you!

I agree with you on location...to save art with the file.

I'll research this tonight and see what happens.
Thank You!
