Title: MacBook Pro M1, over the air ATSC, TV tuner and Media Center
Post by: pc2m on February 25, 2022, 12:02:43 pm
I am moving from a PC to a MacBook Pro M1 (2021).  Currently I use a Hauppauge USB style TV tuner with WinTV software to watch OTA TV on one moniter while I work on my PC on a second monitor. Simple, but works.  Unfortunately, the Hauppauge USB tuner is not compatible with Mac.  I'm looking for a way to continue getting free OTA broadcasts for the Mac. Years ago I used to use JRiver MC 19 for audio, and I'm thinking of using it in conjunction with the tuner.  I'm a real newbie to this and would appreciate any suggestions.

Television is supported in the Mac version.  Please take a look on the Television board here.
