Anyone know a way to get a deinterlace filter working with the MC TV component? I think you can do it with graphedit but I'm not sure how.

Are you talking about the the deinterlace filter from DScaler? It works in Media Center.
Try downloading the latest Deinterlace.dll from DScaler and register it on your computer. Under "Advanced Properties" in Media Center TV configuration, you should see a Deinterlace option.
Years back I made it work with MC. At that time I had to fix some bugs and build a special version of it myself. I hope Dscaler has since fixed the bugs. I no longer have the version I built. But there should be one somewhere on JRiver's server.

I installed the dscaler deinterlace filter but in the advanced options it says: "Deinterlace filter is not available. Please make sure the filter is installed on your system."
There's one with the Winfast TV software too (wfdif.ax) and also one with powerdvd. I'll look for one on the jriver site although I thought I went through all of the plugins and didn't notice it.

You have to register the filter with the Windows.
regsvr32 "Drive:\path\deinterlace.dll"

Oh, I know that. I see it in the list of DirectShow filters but it still doesn't work. :(

Try this one:
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/tmp/deinterlace.ax

Well that one works. ;) Is there a way to use the dscaler filters with this? Where would I put them? Thx.

Do you mean the Dscaler plugins? Put them in the same folder where deinterlace.ax is.
