Title: Help with Audio Output settings for Berkeley USB
Post by: mdogbucket on February 08, 2018, 10:18:15 pm
Hello,

I am using JRiver 22 on a windows 10 PC and recently switched from a Lynx AES16 soundcard to going USB out of the PC into a Berkeley USB to AES/EBU converter.  With my previous Lynx setup I was able to switch between ASIO and WASAPI (event and non-event style), but since switching to USB into the Berkeley, all I can get to work is "TUSBaudio ASIO Driver."  I see "Berkeley Alpha USB Interface Audio WASAPI" can be selected under Audio Devices, but when I do and try to play a track it simply switches back to ASIO.  If I try to use non-event style, I get a Playback Error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That may be a question for the manufacturer of the DAC.  Check with them for correct installation procedure of the DAC.
