Title: Movies tooltip problem: cover art too big
Post by: akira54 on July 15, 2018, 04:36:18 am
I have a problem with the size of the cover art ion the Movies section, standard display (see screenshot). This seriously spoils the fun due to the large size of the cover art. Is there any way I can reduce it?

That's a tooltip.  You can turn it off in MC's settings.  Settings has a search window.

Thanks Jim. I know it can be turned off but can it be made smaller, so it doesn't cover almost half of the screen? Like most people I assume, I am mainly interested in the text, not the cover art, yet the cover art dominates the screen.

It does seem like they are not scaling correctly.
Thumbnails for albums scale the image height based on the number of lines in the tooltip.
Movie posters don't seem to do that, and instead scale to 80% of the display height (at least on my 1440p monitor).

Pity. Any chance the developers might set this right?
