Appreciate the response Dan. I ended up building a new HTPC which removed stuttering  ;D

i have no clue why, but uninstalling jriver and deleting the library with it and then reinstalling and rebuilding my library fixed this.

Are you logged into Cloudplay?  Can you play playlists from it?

Check the "Rules ..."

I would like to compare the values in InitialKey with those in the Grouping fields. Ideally I would like to find where the values do not match. I have looked at expressions but I don't know how I would go about doing a comparison between 2 fields and potentially updating one field or the other (ie update initialkey with the value in grouping or vice versa).

Any thoughts or direction on how to approach this would be tremendously appreciated.

It appears that since updating to MC 32, I'm having issues updating Cover Art.

If I have a Greatest Hits CD saved to MC, I want each song to have it's own cover art, instead of using the cover art that comes with the Greatest Hits CD.

I used to be able to easily make this change but now after changing one song's cover art, if I try to change the next song's cover art the both songs ends up with the same cover art. If I move the 3rd song, change the cover art, now all 3 have the same cover art. Not sure why this started  happening.

See example of issue in Picture1 attachment. Picture11 attachment is an example of what I am trying to achieve.

Thank you and keep doing what you're doing. Great software. Been using for years.

JRiver is playing videos MUCH faster than their default speed - something like 5-10x.
Fast forward is NOT engaged. if I engage fast forward, it plays even faster !
DSP Studio-> Tempo is disabled.

playback chain:
JRiver DSP Output Format (3.1, JRSS, NO encoding, NO sample rate changes) -> Dirac Live Processor Virtual Audio Device (WASAPI) -> Motu 24AO ASIO device

The baffling thing is that this is happening ONLY when playing thru Dirac! If I change the output device to the Motu directly or to an internal loopback WASAPI device, it plays just fine. No settings changes between these.

All other programs play through Dirac just fine - spotify, VLC, etc are all fine. This leads me to believe its JRiver.

This whole issue started when I was unhappy with the bass from a Dirac filter. I played a demo scene, didn't like the bass. Went to DSP Studio -> Parametric Equalizer -> Low Shelf (subwoofer channel, Q=0.5, center 20Hz, gain=5dB). When I added this filter and enabled the Parametric Equalizer, JRiver Got stuck in fast forward playing.
I disabled and deleted the filter and it's still stuck in fast forward playing mode.

I uninstalled JRiver (preserve library, delete registry entries) and reinstalled it, and the same thing is happening.
I uninstalled dirac audio processor and reinstalled it, and the same thing is happening.

What do I do now?

Have a look at using 'Rename, Move, and Copy files' tool.

Hello,

I'm trying to assimilate Cloudplay into my JRiver experience but when I try to incorporate Cloudplay into my Playing Now using Play Doctor, it will only play local files despite having Cloudplay set to 100%. Here's a screenshot of my current settings:

Not skin related.  Uncheck the Volume Protection checkbox under Options/Audio/Volume
Thanks - in that case the two issues are not encountered.

With Volume Protection enabled, I now realize there are two operating domains:

(a) Slow drag, motion feels unconstrained:  No jump-back most of the time, but could use improved (adjusted?) speed filtering (simple or exponential moving average?) to make it work even more consistently.

(b) Fast drag, with max speed limited by software:  There is no logical reason to have it jump back from 100% to 99%.  Either don't jump back at all, or quickly jump back at least 5%-10% for protection when speed is above a threshold.  Here too, improved filtering might make the motion smoother, though there is a tradeoff with fast response required for safety.

Hi everyone.
I reordered all the files in my music archive (10 TB) with MC32 (artist, album, cover, etc.). But the names and folders of the files on my hard disks have not been changed. Is it possible to set MC32 so that they are updated on the hard disks?
Many thanks.
