Title: Podcast & Track Numbers
Post by: womble on April 10, 2018, 11:01:34 pm
I have an issue with MC23 overwriting [Track #] on podcasts. As soon as the feed is updated MC trashes whatever is in that field and replaces it with its own weird numbering system. In my case a very wrong numbering system.
It looks like this has been an issue since at least version 12 - https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=38236.0 & https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,58956.msg398470.html

I assume that the podcast feed update routine looks at already downloaded episodes and updates the track # as it attempts to determine if it should download an episode or not.
I suggest that the track # should be set as above unless there is an episode number [Episode] in which case it uses that as the Track # instead. That way it can be overridden when required.

Any chance this could be fixed?
