Title: How do i force MC to use the Nvidia card in my laptop, instead of Intel onboard?
Post by: JustinChase on December 10, 2019, 07:53:30 pm
I've got a new laptop with an Intel onboard GPU and an additional Nvidia M250 graphics card.  I want to make MC use the Nvidia card, but am having trouble.

I've added MC to the programs list in the Nvidia control panel, and told it to use the Nvidia card always, but when I try to play a video in MC, I get a message the audio settings aren't right, and the video refuses to play.

I've tried everything I can think of, but I'm stuck.  I reinstalled the Nvidia driver, telling it to clear all settings, and it's removed MC from the program list and now MC works, but it doesn't use the Nvidia card, so selecting RO HQ causes very stuttery video.

Help is much appreciated!
