This is a new build of JRiver Media Center 27. Please post bugs here. Please start a new thread for anything requiring discussion. Non-bug posts will be deleted.

27.0.15 (9/19/2020)
1. Changed: Video pause will fire the OSD when in full screen mode now.
2. Changed: Updated the play / pause handling in the TV control and JRiver video engine to match the standard video engine.

1. Changed: MC will query HDHomeRun devices for the number of tuners, instead of using hard-coded values, for a more accurate count.
2. [NEW: The text shown in Theater View's Playing Now can be customized in Options > Theater View > Advanced > Expression for Playing Now.
3. Changed: MC will classify a show as "movie" if the XMLTV puts it in a category of "Television movie" or "Cinema movie".
4. Changed: Left click won't pause when releasing a menu or double-clicking.

1. Changed: MC will skip automatic creation of DMS (Tuner Stream) channels for an HDHomeRun device if it can determine the tuner's TV format to be DVB-T, and DVB-T channels already exist.
2. NEW: Added a "Find License" button to the purchase / restore dialog.
3. Changed: Automatic loading of SiliconDust EPG will be done in a worker thread so the program will be more responsive.

12. Changed: When the program is in gapless between album tracks, it will stay gapless if you back up a track as well.
13. Changed: MC2XML EPG option is removed from TV setup.
14. Changed: Panel - Jump to playing now when playing video files.
15. NEW: Left clicking a playing video will toggle the pause state (except blu-ray because the menu needs the clicks).
16. NEW: SiliconDust EPG added to TV setup EPG options for manual setup.

1. Fixed: When XMLTV file contain IDs that are shared by different channels, some of the channels may not be properly matched to their XMLTV IDs.
2. Changed: Middle click will close the active tab (before it did nothing).
3. Fixed: Switching to high resolution in the Analyzer could crash.
4. Fixed: VST2 effects would not load properly.
5. Fixed: Right-click on an empty car radio button would crash.
6. Changed: Slovak translation updated (thanks Peter Lukac).

5. Changed: Auto-sizing columns is moved to a new setting name so it will default to on for everyone.
6. Changed: Analyzer has a checkbox to increase the resolution so it should be better at low frequencies.

1. Fixed: TV Channel to XMLTV ID mapping might find very few matches if users choose not to include a channel number in front of each channel name, for some XMLTV data.

Very old bug (since maybe ver 23-24): in Library view - Files when start JRiver from remembered directory not work going to parent directories.
New bug 27 ver: columns dimentions (artist, tracks etc) live their own life.

Not a bug, the auto size columns feature is on by default in MC27. Disable it by going to MC's Options > Tree & View and uncheck Auto size columns and hit OK. After restarting MC it should save and retain custom column sizes.

Thanks very much for adding left-click to pause!
Just fyi though, I am having trouble where double-clicking the playing window will change the play/pause.
For instance, if I single-left-click to pause. And then I double-click to exit full-screen, it will exit full screen but it also starts playing again. It does not remain paused.
And vice-versa as well.

I can't reproduce this. Double-click works as expected for me and does not toggle pause.
Are you set to really slow double-clicks or something? Anyone else?

ich versuche hier Hilfe zu bekommen.
Seit Tagen probiere ich den Download-Link aus. Er geht nicht. Es ist der Link. den ich per Mail bekommen habe. Auch nach Anmeldung im Board klicke ich auf den Download-Link und er geht nicht ?

Yaobing was able to reproduce the double-click pausing and jumping views, and we'll have a hopeful fix in the next build. Thanks for the help.

Moving a folder with a freshly tagged album to a new location (folder contains audio files and associated jpg's)
Media Center 'claims' folder.jpg already exists: skip, replace, cancel
Since the new folder did not exist prior, how can it contain a file with the same name?
It does this only with image files, not the audio files.
It does it on each album if moving more than one.
It is not limited to folder.jpg, but also cover.jpg and others.
It existed prior to this build, but passed it off as an anomaly.

Still increments the play count by 2 when playing to a DLNA device. Once when play starts and again after the track has finished.
EDIT: This only happens when using MCWS. In fact, when playing to "this device" via JRemote2 you will see the play count increment by 2.
EDIT #2: Not happening now after a server reboot. Sorry

64 bit version hangs on installation, never gets beyond updating files. I've deleted each unsuccessful .exe and redownloaded, rebooted the computer. Haven't experienced this in prior builds. I've attempted to create a rule in the firewall (Windows Defender) but of course there is no file yet installed.

Thanks. That was not it; I had already configured Defender during previous MC Build's troubleshooting. I think I discovered the culprit (new SiliconDust EPG feature), and I am starting a thread to describe it. Thank you again.
